Press & Premieres

“Delivering a more intimate and vulnerable sound, the [acoustic] EP reveals an accomplished songwriter with incredible talent to offer in more ways than one. Across the release her vocals softly soar, carrying poignant lyrical work above a perfect arrangement of delicate instrumentation.”

Plastic Magazine

“With an impressive, husky vocal delivery, Betty carries the song effortlessly alongside sizzling guitars and energetic drums, and with buckets of authenticity.”

Fame Magazine

“As an artist who writes songs inspired by not only her own life experiences but also moments and events she’s been witness to around the world, “Misunderstood”, about the #MeToo movement and standing up for victims of harassment or assault, is already, unsurprisingly, resonating strongly with and deeply touching those who have heard it.”

PopWrapped

“Betty Reed views karma through two lenses: the age old adage of “what goes around comes around,” and the tangible results of taking one’s happiness into their own hands and moving forward in life. It’s the latter definition that Reed embodies in her latest single “Karma” – premiering today exclusively with Audiofemme – from her upcoming EP, Mistakes Made, Lessons Learned,
out September 3, 2021.”

AudioFemme

“Singer and songwriter Betty Reed is here to provide you with a jolt today thanks to her latest single, “Misunderstood.” The polished country-pop tune is meaningful in so many ways, a bold statement about an important issue that for too long has been swept under the rug.”

V13 Media

“The first single 'Karma' has already critics buzzing for its message and openness. Out now, it's a strong message about toxic relationships, and liberating oneself in order to grow. An inspiring theme, ever present in Betty's music.”
